Simultaneous Dual Ports
BBI formed a highly efficient 10 person team that integrated into Unknown World’s Unity pipelines to deliver both Subnautica & Below Zero ports at the same time.
This alleviated the overhead of interfacing with two separate porting teams while halving their lead time for release.
Swift Delivery On First Try
The timeline for both ports from kickoff to final release was just 9 months.
The BBI team was able to pass platform compliance tests on the first try and deliver within proposed scope.
The re-release was met with great fan reception at the February 2026 launch.
